    Have undertaken a comparison of a closeup with an online photo of Roland Prout and can confirm there is no likeness . Good shout -I will take an interest in Sheppey , Canvey Island

    I think it might be somewhere in continental Europe . The year of launch for Shearwater 990 , would help a lot. My guess is early 1960s
