    Not when the keel and rudder are separated.

    That is simply bad seamanship. The boat has too much canvas up, or is steered poorly.

    :eek: So you design a rudder but install 2? Quite funny.

    Of course, a reasonable peace treaty between aeronautical engineers and naval architects would be simpler:

    1-3 tons SailBoat for aeronautical engineers

    100-100,000 tons Ships for naval architects

    What do mechanical engineers get? I want to throw my hat in the game if engineers are getting sailboats and ships.

    No, that's not correct. As you say it is just basic physics, but you need to understand physical principles.
