Hi everyone,
I’m Gianandrea, a naval architect and yacht designer based in Palma de Mallorca.

I’d like to share a Rhino plugin we developed called Swordfish 3D.
It runs entirely inside Rhino and it aims to cover the same kind of day to day workflow many of us do with other more famous tools, but directly on Rhino geometry, with a fast and practical approach.

What you can do with it:
• import and validate hull geometry
• set up loadcases
• design grid tools
• hydrostatics
• balance and stability checks

It’s completely free, and you can install it directly from the Rhino Package Manager.
It works on Rhino 7 and Rhino 8, on both Windows and Mac.

For the more advanced users, there is also a Grasshopper version, fully customizable for personal workflows and automation.
