Shanty Boat Hull Modification Questions

    Wish I had the nerve/knowledge to put a wood burner in mine. Will probably use an Olympic catalytic heater(and carbon monoxide detector).

    I'm want to build Akins Retreat too, have had the plans for a year. Want to use plywood instead of 1x cedar for the hull can't make up my mine if I should go with 1/2" or 3/4" for the hull. Notice you used plywood if you don't mine what thickness did you go with?

    I used 1/2” meranti with two layers of 9oz cloth outside and two inside.

    Just did graphite on the bottom today. Should be ready to flip after next weekend.
