My understanding is that many old sites can be brought back 'into daylight'. I'm too old school to know how to do it. Can someone help??

Catbird Suite's flexible A-frame rig, see www.damsl.com

I don't know about resurrection, but you could try the Wayback Machine aka archive, org. Not everything is backed up there, but a lot is. They also have goodies like old boating magazines in another section.

The WIG page used to be very useful and meticulous.
Unfortunately, it has been lost, or the author has died.

The WIG page It was a collection of information, photos, and videos regarding wing-in-ground effect vehicles.
Interesting archival footage—I remember the Soviet ekranoplan flying over the snow between the trees, just like Luke Skywalker’s speeder.
If there are any traces of that webpage left, please let me know.
