recoring fuel tank inspection hatch.

My hatch has succumbed to the elements. I plan on using a sheet of coosa for the repair the same thickness as the old ply.

I plan on removing the cover, then the core and cleaning it all up with 36 grit on a grinder, what would be the best way to glue the coosa to the cover's skin?

cabosil thickened epoxy then fillet the edges and put one layer of 1708 over the back side of the coosa and another layer of 1708 around the edge for added tabbing?

You can use polyester adhesive or polyester resin and a layer of 3/4oz mat. There is no need to use epoxy.

Where would I find a poly adhensive?

I was planning on using the poly I had to glass the 1708 over the coosa. you think one layer of 3/4 mat would be better? would it make sense to add another layer just around the edges?

I had no intentions of using epoxy for the whole job just the gluing part.

I attempted to do this same thing on another boat one time, with mat and resin but it didn't adhere properly, I don't know what I did wrong on the other hatch.
