Male skeleton is on the right by appearance of the pelvis. Position on left undetermined. Perhaps she got him with a frying pan?

I think I read somewhere that the bones were all collected to grind up for fertilizer. Edit: I just read the article in the link. Duh!
 
Big waves/..how about 170 meter mega tsunami wave.

With waves taller than 100 meters, it`s no wonder they are called mega tsunamis.After part of cape Verde`s Fogo volcano fell into the sea 70,000 years ago, a wave 170 meters tall slammed into nearby Santiago island, now a home for over a quarter of a million people.

In his magnificent book 'Arctic Dreams' (a strong contender for the best book I have ever read) Barry Lopez makes clear the significant contribution of the whalers to Arctic exploration, aside from the 'professional' or dedicated explorers. He refers also to their willingness to adopt the indigenous clothing technologies early on, long before 'official' expeditions learnt to swallow their pride and accept that their 'advanced' equipment and clothing did not perform nearly as well as that of the native peoples.
