Hunter name this could mean different manufacturers . Which Hunter ?

British Hunter, rather than US Hunter. That was called the Hunter Landau. The boat you say came from Sweden, I have never seen one here.

Judging by the familiar overall design and rib style I’m going to say you have a PolarKraft boat. I have its older brother an ‘84 1870

looks very close to a G3 model that I have one of. Don't have a picture of mine handy but here is one off the internet..

The G3’s strake is lower than the boat pictured. Like mentioned this could be from a handful of manufacturers that are no longer making tin flat bottoms. The port/stbd bow termination, strake height (in relation to gunwale and chine), style of the U ribs and style of transom knees all look like PolarKraft from the early Godfrey Marine era to me

Haven't been here for a while. I've been hanging out on a couple of Facebook Groups devoted to restoring old boats, and vintage boats, and the first question is almost always, what is this boat? What brand, model, model year, etc. I got so tired of typing the same answers I created two pages on my website. One is for boats that were produce after 1972, that have a Hull Identification Number, and the other is for vintage boats that do not have an HIN, meaning they were probably produced before 1972, or were home built. BTW, states are now required to assign HINs to recreational boats that do not have one, when they are registered.

I agree with the thought that the aluminum Jon boat was probably a home built, or it was intended to be a work boat. Work boats do not have to have HINs or meet the Federal standards and they are not supposed to be sold as recreational boats, but some slip through the cracks. And some states require them to be registered, but they don't have to assign an HIN because they're not supposed to be used as recreational boats.

As for the other thing, the strange looking tri, it reminds me of the Navy LCS. but a lot smaller. No idea.
