INTRODUCTION
I am a maritime civil engineer with Masters in maritime civil engineering (University of Liverpool UK ), Masters in Naval Architecture(London University UK ) and Diploma in Ocean Engineering (University College London UK). I have over ten years experience in PN dockyard including general manager yard services responsible for maintenance and construction of Pakistan Naval Vessels and small crafts.
I was the Project officer for the construction of Ormara Naval Harbour which was constructed in collaboration with Turkish company (STFA), I was involved in design review, planning, contracting and implementation of Ormara Port Construction.
I was General Manager Submarine Construction of second Agosta 90B submarine, build in Pakistan for the first time with French transfer of technology. The submarine was successfully launched on 24th of August 2001 when I was incharge of SMC department. For the transfer of technology I was in charge of the technical mission to France from 1998 to 2000.
At present I am the Project Director, responsible for its implementation of Gawadar Deep Water port, which is a commercial port being constructed in collaboration with China Harbour Engineering Construction Company(CHEC).
