    Welcome to the Forum Allison.

Can you tell us please a bit more about this project?
What do you mean by 'river floating'?
Re looking at reefs, will it be used in Tobago waters?
What construction material are you proposing?
You have arrived at a size of 80' x 20' - that is a big boat for sure. How many passengers and crew do you intend to carry?
And finally (for now), what is your budget for this project?

A & T Marine here in Barbados (less than 200 miles from Trinidad) have built a number of smaller glass bottom boats over the years, but the largest has been about 40' long.

A boat that size will require carefull engineering. There has been some advances in considering glass as structural, but no below the waterline. You need to contact a Naval architect and be willing to spend a few thousand dollars for a preliminary study. To start with, what is your budget. If the study plan is too expensive, the boat is out of your range. Also, contact the moderator to correct your title. It says 8 feet, which would be a very small dinghy.

Allison appears to have absconded - after posting for the first time on Saturday, she (?) has not logged in to the Forum since then.
Maybe she has had a look at the Forum since then - but if she wants somebody to 'assist with a sample of a design' she is going to have to respond when questions are asked of her.
