Anyone ever attach hull liner or head liner to a foam hull?
If you want a wood strip to trim or hide edges, like on a ceiling, how do you attach the wood without involving screwing into the foam. An obvious thought is to glue a light say 3/8-1/2" thick unfinished batten to the hull; then glue or screw to it with a cap trim.
Any other method? I thought about rabbeting the trim board for a single step, but any refinishing would have to be done on the boat vs a table.
Then for a glue; any recommends? Any reason powergrab would be unwise?
How smooth does the surface under need to be for 1/4" foam backed liner? Will a 8"-6"-6" tape seam need a pass of fairing compound to avoid showing?
