Like old Formula Jr. boats , this thread will not die!

I too have a Jr in the process of restoration. It is purported (by the P/O) to be hull #2 made in 1965. I am always doing research on these boats and love any information that is sent my way. Pictures, HIN #'s, specs, etc... all good. dcsconroy@gmail.com

Hi, I found this thread while looking for info on the Thunderbird Formula Jr. We have a Formula Jr and are interested in selling it for restoration. We have the trailer and the original windhsield with it. If anyone's interested I do have photos of it that I can post.

Hi,

Can you email me more info if the boat is still available and contact info?

Thanks!

Hello to all of you happy fews

my name is Calou, I'm French, from the South west near Biarritz in case you know this place.
I'm the happy owner of a Formula Thunderbird Junior 1964 since two years.
I bought the boat with a Volvo 4 cylinders broken, I had this opportunity very rare in my country.
I have also classic cars so I did not take time to restore it? I bought a 318 Chrysler and rebuilted it, i have minor work to do on the frame and to paint it before I put the engine in.
I have a very important part missing on my boat, the two engraver "Formula Thunderbird junior " for each side...
Does any one of you know where I can buy it or is it possible to give me the dimensions please?
In case you want to have conversations with me, here is my email adress
hcalou61@orange.fr
Best regards

So there is no more reader on this post?
I've just bought a Donzi 18 Classic to restore.
Regards from France.

Hi Mr Efficiency
I had too much work to do last months, I did notning. :)

I have something to ask you in case you are the happy owner of a FTJ, the two engraver "Formula Thunderbird junior " for each side are missing on mine...
Do you know where I can buy it or is it possible to give me the dimensions please on a picture, i'll try to find someone to make it in France, it will be very kind of you.

I was thinking the weight of that V8 might have been too much. As for your decals, if you had a good picture, someone might be able to produce a good facsimile for you, or else look on E-Bay or similar.

In fact i have to have a look what is the weight difference between a 302 Ford and a 318 Mopar.
I need to have a picture with the sizes on, at this point I need help from a FTJ's owner who have it at home.
