As the title says, looking for a fiberglass boat building specialist and project manager in China for twin hulls around 6 meters and smaller initially.
You will have autonomous control over your own factory and be a Partner in the business - no, you are not required to input one cent and the returns are extremely lucrative, you will have the capability of retiring in a relatively short term. This might be the last job you have.
Although it is in China, it is a part Australian company and you will not answer to any Chinese, nor will any Chinese be dictating to you artistically. It is in a clean, beautiful smaller city in Sichuan where 3 famous rivers meet and nothing like the putrid polluted cities Western media is so fond of showing. It is a 1.5 hour drive from Chengdu where 1000s of Western families live and work and meet at many Ex-Pat venues.
This position would be to organise, supervise and train workers for a scratch startup where, as mentioned, you will have complete artistic autonomy.
Position includes a substantial salary package, house, car etc. that places you in the top few percentage in terms of local earnings.
I don't care what qualifications you do or don't have but experience is required as this is a position where people will be looking towards your experience for material selection, quantities and the physical application of those materials including advising/training.
This is a scratch company to produce it's own brand and designs, not copy or to build other peoples. Also completely open for your design input or might entertain a current business owner/operator out there who wants to startup in China - but only onboard as a part of us. We have other fiberglass projects pending as well.
We have every aspect of the business just about ready to go except for now lacking an experienced boat builder who will be the key of the business.
