Epoxy gelcoat and non-skid negative

War Whoop from an earlier post: Just use a Epoxy Gelcoat SP systems has a good one .and brush it in end of story. No pin holes ,Sandable You have a 3 hour wait and a 3 day lamination window ....

And then paint with Awlgrip or similar... I think I'd like to go this way too.

But, how do you treat/create the non-skid areas? with grit in paint? Is there any way to use a negative in the mould? Paint?

I do not know the history of your posting, but is this about using Gibco Flexmold anti skid profiles for plugs and moulds?

 

any non-skid profile. How do you create non-skid in a production build using epoxy laminates? epoxy gelcoat is not UV resistant like PE gelcoat and has to painted, then what about the non-skid? painted on too?
