I am getting notifications on some threads I posted on. How do I stop that feature?

Go to "user cp" ; then click on "list subscriptions" ; check the one(s) you don't want and go to bottom of page and select "delete subscriptions".

    Thanks Doug. That is correct.

    Updated for new forum software:

1.) You can manage thread subscriptions, now called Watched Threads, by going to
    https://www.boatdesign.net/watched/threads/all

(Select the threads in that list where you no longer wish to be notified of updates, then near the top right click "Manage Watched Threads" and either "Disable email notifications" or "Stop watching threads".)

2.) To change the default notification behavior for threads you create or where you reply, please go to Preferences at https://www.boatdesign.net/account/preferences
    You will see options including:
    • Automatically watch threads that you create or when you reply...
(uncheck if you don't want to get an alert)
    • and receive email notifications of replies
(uncheck if you don't want to get an email notification)
3.) You can further fine-tune Alert Preferences at
    https://www.boatdesign.net/account/alert-preferences

4.) You can also override this on a thread-by-thread basis by clicking the "Watch Thread" or "Unwatch Thread" on the top right of an individual thread.
