CFD software options for Hull Resistance curves

This thesis with proposed regression formulations in clear and with their coefficients (which is rare) can be helpful :" Re-evaluation of resistance prediction for high-speed round bilge hull forms" by Jae Won, Florida institute of technology , based on old to recent experiments :
  • NPL (1969)

  • S-NPL (1994)

  • SKLAD (1972-1980) and

  • AMERC (1984-2000)
Not yet used myself but seems very good and well documented at first glance :

Here are some Resistance and Power curves for different methods I got using Maxsurf.
Holtrop and Fung give similar results. I am planning to use these results as a starting point.
Bare Hull Resistance in calm water at 8 knots = 3.1 kilo Newtons
Power in calm water at 8 knots (50% efficiency) = 26 kilo Watts

Have you decided not to read the Bailey series; which is more appropriate?

They give the same result for 8 knots (NPL Bailey and Holtrop)! I am really impressed with the outcome.
