Those are generous limits Montero. Here we get 5.5m & 5hp before the hand goes out for registration money, velocity limited to 10Kn also. Some are having custom decals made to detune their motors to 5hp, as it seems inspectors don't bother with model/serial details - see no evil.

I think you need to add speed requirements to your SOR, but if you keep your hulls skinny I can't see why you can't do better than average performance under most conditions.

Maybe take a look at Bernd Kohler's self aligning asymmetrical hulls? Might avoid the need for dagger boards.

It'll probably be a poor boat in light winds, but fast with the engine(s).

I want to test relatively rough sailing conditions.

Test out some sails , wings and evaluate suitability on a larger scale projects.

Check the boat's ability to turn over after a capsize.
It'll be quite difficult to capsize.
 
Need 1"-1.5" or smaller 24VDC coil valves. Normaly closed.
I imagine an inlet of about 1" in diameter . Closed or open. I don't need intermediate states. In what field of technology can I find a ready-made one?
 
Today I figured out how to do this flooding and emptying ama. It looks not as difficult as I thought.
I have to do a little tinkering to make it KISS.
 
I assume you mean solenoid valves, as in electrical fluid control devices? In salt water use, you will need marine rated. For fresh water they can be purchased from an irrigation supplier or removed from an old clothes washing machine.


 
Sometimes when I see "marine rated" or "marine grade," I wonder what the company means.
I respect Danfoss they have a wide range of products and quality .

The second link is more interesting.
For example there's a Hunter valve with a DC coil. Here, I only found a 24VAC coil.

I would expect marine rated to have corrosion resistant materials and spark suppression, plus a healthy surcharge.

The AC ones (unless they use an onboard inverter) must use a stepper motor, and possibly are adjustable, while the DC ones likely use an electromagnet and will be fully off or fully on.

You can invert 24V AC to DC, but it will cost a few amps and a few euros.
