    Hi there,

I recently managed to track down and buy a Buckler 24 sailing ketch.
What the seller of the boat did not have was an owners manual!

Does anyone know where I might be able to find / buy an owners manual for a Buckler 24 sailing Ketch?

    Many thanks in advance!

    Hi.

I just wanted to say that Practical Boat Owner magazine did two reviews of the Buckler in 1976 and 1987, which you might find helpful on a general level.

They are very interesting boats. How are you getting on with yours?

Not an expert on the Buckler 24 and it's the same boat but there is a 'Buckler M1 & M2 brochure (not manual) available from Mike Davies here :-

I've been looking for these articles. Does anyone have a copy they can scan and share? I have a line on a "free" Buckler boat - but no real info outside of these posts on the forums. I'm hoping the articles might reveal some additional information.

Many boat builders did not create an "owners manual" in the sense of what most people think of as an owners manual. They may have given the buyer copies of the blueprints and some info on the engine. But for older boats comprehensive owners manuals don't exist.
