Anyone know if it's possible to get a bronze bush to convert from 1-1/4" male BSP tapered to male parallel? I've got an old bronze strainer I'd like to use on a project with a trudesign ball valve.

What is the diameter of the ball valve? If it has a straight thread there is an o-ring?

It's the trudesign composite ball valve, they seem pretty keen on mentioning everywhere that they don't want you using tapered BSP fittings in their composite parts. At the moment I've got the strainer on a stainless ball valve on where it's been since the 80s on an old trawler I used to run but the valve is a little stiff now and fancied giving one of these new composite ones a go. I've been liking the trudesign skin fittings I've been using recently.

Is this the valve?

They make them in BSP

I missed that. You could get a BSP parallel thread nipple and recut one side for tapered.
