So had an absolute nightmare figuring out how marine gauges work and compatibility of dials till I ran across this PDF.

Its basically a guide for each brands wiring, so at least it showed where i stand in regards to needed dials (OMC / Johnoson almost doesnt exist in Egypt!).

Ok so i tried this method to organize my cables and i LOVE IT. keeps the cables from excessively heating because it enables good air flow (helps when ur boat is in 40-48 degree celsius temperature) and makes separating cables easy. It is very time consuming to do though but very happy with end result.
