30.7 knts (57 km/h) for this boat, at 250 hp, it doesn't sound like blazing speed. On the other hand, an 8m long boat that only weighs 2 tons (full load I guess) looks like a huge success, deserving of a big congratulations. Given that the heaviest equipment is what it is and does not depend on the designer, there is no doubt that a commendable job has been done with the structure.

Too much for me to care about listing.
If the exterior design does not have some common sense, then I don't want one, or care to discuss it.
I should have kept my mouth shut.
(It will be interesting to see if I get a few likes about the last line!)

Bruh, because practicality is often sacrificed to appearance, that's why I said that SOMETIMES exterior design is not about common sense. But you never answered, which seemed superfluous to you.

That design is awesome. If boats were only utilitarian we would all be floating on steel welded boxes. I love it.

What is the explanation for a transom of 18 degrees, just for the external appearance and to go against common sense?
I also don't understand how you can go from a weight of 3 tons (or 2.5 tons, as canbe read on the Victory boats website) to 4.5 tons at full load.

That's a moderate amount of beer; at least by Wisconsin standards.

For once, and without setting a precedent, I must agree with you because that is the only logical explanation.

It's easy. 2.5tonns is weight without engine and fuel.
Don't forget that maximum fuel capacity is 480l. Add outboard engine +-300kg, and 8 peoples with things, so you'll get a full load.
Here it is necessary to understand that this is the maximum permissible load. It is clear that this will not happen to you often.

... and 3 tons with engine and fuel?. I don't get the numbers like that either.

Hah you are meticulous to the numbers, but we have moved away from the point, the point is that with such a weight and a 250hp outboard engine boat is quite fast.
However, it would be more interesting for me to compare this boat with analogues in its price segment.

I was impressed by the beer capacity, or is it vodka? It looks good in orange too.

Hahahah, the boat has moved to a new class, designed for use in a "Lagavulin" rivers)
Seriously, 450 liters for beer and 30 liters for vodka. That's it.
Of course I don't advise it, but who will stop you?..

Indeed...since that is only 55hp/tonne...which is "moderate" by any standards of measure for planning monohulls.
Just about any similar size boat with same power will be consistent with these performance values....
