Welcome to the new Boat Design Forums and Boat Design Gallery.

As you’ve noticed now, the software has been upgraded with the goal of a simpler interface and better support for modern devices.

Thanks again very much for your patience during this week’s upgrade window.

I am a typical turd who resist change and needs time to warm up so I better let things soak more before give more feedback.
But my initial worry is uneconomic use of space. I can see only very few thread tittles at once. I would much prefer less margins and extras and more pixels space for pure content.

Many thanks for the new format - I've yet to explore all the features, but I'm enjoying it so far. I know a very great deal of work goes into an update like this - much appreciated!

One thing - the anchor symbol in the 'Last message' column now links to the first column in the thread - is it possible to change this to link to the last message posted?

    Thanks!

(I should add that it works from the overall view of the whole forum, but not when you drill down into the sub forums or on the 'new posts' view)

    Thanks very much!

Looking at the anchor link now.

Edit: the anchor icon link in the last post column has been adjusted to simply go to the last post of the thread.

Also, if you find that clicking on a thread title where there are new posts does not take you to the first unread post, please click the Mark Forums Read (mark all forums read) to start with a clean slate (in terms of read markers) after the software upgrade. For threads where there are no unread posts, or if you're not logged in, clicking on the thread title should take you to the first post of the thread. For threads where there are new unread posts, clicking on the thread title should take you to the first unread post.
