Pammie

With a life long interest in mountaineering, climbing and sportsclimbing, I switched to sailing some 25 years ago. Mountaineering and sailing are quite alike, but you (mostly) don't get as tired from sailing as from mountaineering. I sailed mostly in the Netherlands and Northsea. Often solo (or with my dog Stevie who likes to go with me, but who doesn't like sailing)
With a technical background in electric engineering I am always interested in how and why. Did the maintenance of my Seamaster 925 all by myself.
A few years ago I worked a long hard year on Gecko, Kurt Hughes F40 tri. Even lowering the mainsail it sailed faster than I ever sailed with my Seamaster. Sadly I had to stop with it. Infected by the multihull virus I started with beachcats; just to have fun. But what I wanted was a multihull racer that was able to sail the ocean to do races like AZAB and Ostar. I decided to design and build it myself; to challenge myself.
