Robert Biegler: Canoe and port paravane on the beach at Loch Lomond, 1999
Ally folding canoe with cambered junk sail, stabilised by Paul Ashford's anchor dog design (AYRS booklet #114, Ultimate Sailing; see https://www.ayrs.org/booklets/) on the beach at Loch Lomond. The hull is absolutely not intended to take the loads from a rig, and the rig is not well well attached to the structure, but it worked anyway, because most of the loads were contained in the mast, sail, paravane, and the bridle that connected them.
