SailDesign: An old sighting - "Endeavour" in 1965.

Sitting in a mud-berth in the Hamble, still wearing her trans-Atlantic "cruising" ketch rig from her crossing to and from the US for the America's Cup. In those days, you had to reach the Cup venue on your own bottom, and the full racing rig was not suited for that. When she came home from racing, she ended up here. Her owner, whose name escapes me now, lived on Lulworth, next door, and Velsheda was also in a mud-berth a bit farther south, owned by the same person. I have not been able to get a decent scan of this half-frame slide until recently, and sadly it was the last shot on the roll so the punch-holes kind of ruin the stern, but.....
